California State Polytechnic University is a rather large, public, coeducational institution located in the town of Pomona, California. The university has a total undergraduate and graduate enrollment of about 19,800 students, however, the graduate business program only consists of approximately 177 students. Approximately 92% of the graduate business students have already had an average of 7 years of full-time professional experience, as as a result of this fact, the average age of enrollment is approximately 29, however, ages range from 23 all the way up to 65. About 8% of the graduate business students enrolled directly from undergraduate school, and approximately 3% of students already have a graduate degree of some sort. The College of Business Administration and Graduate Programs is known for its emphasis on the case study method, as well as the integration of general business theory and practical applications. The graduate business school offer degrees in the Master of Business Administration (MBA), and the Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA), as well as interdisciplinary programs in agriculture and business as well as foreign exchange programs in 18 different countries. Admission to California State Polytechnic's College of Business Administration and Graduate Programs is extremely competitive among the relatively few students who apply. Furthermore, an impressive 99% of the most recent graduates found a job within 3 months of receiving their graduate degree.
