Arizona State University is a rather large, public institution located in the town of Tempe, Arizona, and has a combined graduate and undergraduate population of over 25,000 students. The university's College of Law, however, is significantly smaller, and is home to about 594 graduate law students. The average age of enrollment is around 25, and it is quite rare for any student to enter the school directly from their undergraduate education. The school is perhaps best known for its wonderful library and subsequent research resources, as well as for its connections within the Arizona legal community. The school offers degrees in the 3 year JD, as well as joint degrees in the 4 year JD/MBA, as well as the JD/PhD in justice studies. Some of the most popular programs of study include courses in the areas of Indian law, law, science and technology, environmental law, intellectual property law, international law, legal philosophy, as well as taxation.
